Here's 10 Min. of Los Angeles/Hollywood streets. Some sharped eyed people have nailed this as 1941 but the title says 1930s which appears to be a bit off. Movie signs etc., denote this as 1941 era. So its just before entry into WW II. |

Another RPPC from the Ron Lerch collection on eBay. Unless there's a backstory, a small plane crashing in the ocean is hardly noirish but as close as it gets in this collection.

UP City of Los Angeles Wreck
Cliff's Notes: The wreck occurred on November 12, 1951 at a siding called Wyutah which, as you might surmise, was near the Utah-Wyoming border. One passenger train traveling at 77 mph rear-ended another traveling at 2 mph, killing 11 pasengers and six crew members. The accident occurred in blizzard conditions.
