No pics but some small updates when I drove through downtown this afternoon:

Law School is above-ground with first-floor columns in place and elevator core at the 4th floor.

NEC of the Ryan finally having work done so windows can be added. Still unsure where and in what form the Chase bank will be in this project, if a walk-in branch or an ATM.

The old Korrick’s building at NEC of 1st St and Washington is undergoing extensive facade renovations at ground level.

That view at Monroe and Central tho...with X Phoenix rising to the West and Kennect filling in more of the view to the north. Really filling in downtown from the perspective of a pedestrian.

I was curious to see what type of updates were being done and just caught the following on the DTPHX Instagram page. Metal awnings and a fresh new white paint job.

Preliminary building plans were submitted for The Edith (is that really what it's called?) at Central and Adams.

I am confused, is this the 17 floor Berger Hotel or the Berger proposal for the Hyatt Garage?

The Edith is the Berger and Sunbelt Holdings project at the SEC of Adams and Central Ave.

Found new renderings that I can post later.

Ever get them renderings? I was hunting around the internet and couldn't find anything.
Aren't they supposed to break ground on this sometime in June?

I like when I can't keep track of what's going up, even in Phoenix. Like I knew this was a thing but I didn't know it was named.

Appreciate the good work.

Agreed, does anyone have details on the Hyatt garage?

Thanks for posting! I think I asked this already but is the final height still at 20 stories?

Have they shared an anticipated groundbreaking date?

It was reduced to 16 floors + a canopy for a total height of 231' (211' to the roof) on the last records request I pulled. The renderings above look like they nearly match up the Fact Finding document I received, so don't think anything has changed from that. :(

No problem! The anticipation was just killing me! Thank you!

It's interesting, this Berger rendering looks like a mini version of the Hyatt Berger highrise concept. I still hope the city eventually chooses the Hines concept. If that still goes through.

I believe, per the RFP, they have until June 3rd to break ground.

Been kinda lazy lately and haven't been checking on permits. Got around to it today. Not much to report except:

McKinley Green:
5/04 Inventory Salvage issued
5/04 Commercial Civil Place Holder issued
5/19 Plat Review

I feel McKinley Green is going to be the next one we have that breaks ground.

Central Station:
5/06 Abandonment Review

What is this abandonment review mean?
What does it consist of?

I think they need to abandon a portion of the NE corner of 1st Ave and Van Buren for something. I'll have to dig up my records request. I think it was in there IIRC.
