Another MKII... I miss pop-up headlights
https://live.staticflickr.com/2940/1...31272bb2_b.jpg I love a round 1990s whale like this https://live.staticflickr.com/8668/1...fd2596ae_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/2936/1...0253658d_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/2896/1...c277baf0_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/5197/1...2ea7bd4e_b.jpg A relative rarity... a late Nova with the 1979-only square headlights. Even growing up in the '80s and '90s I pretty much never saw these and at first I thought it was a Volare/Aspen https://live.staticflickr.com/5477/1...321d1d64_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/5240/1...29e87989_b.jpg Last for now, I came of age in the 1990s and I know they were underpowered but I still lust after these purple Prowlers. Look how clean those wheels are! https://live.staticflickr.com/2905/1...69ac17f0_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/5040/1...2255fef2_b.jpg |
^never a bit fan, but appreciated the offering and loved the front suspension geometry/exposure.

Another '90s Mopar product... just spotted this yesterday and this is the cleanest LH car I've seen in a very long time
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...4fcf7a66_b.jpg I still think these look good https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...ef504c13_b.jpg |

Always wanted an Exige. Perhaps the quintessential track day toy.

High five!
I used to compete in time attack and autocross (solo I and II). Did my race school way back in 03' but didn't have the cash to move it forward. |

Only have only run on Bridgestones. They are so damn consistent and while not always top grip, far more predictable and lasting. I'd drive to events on them, run the event and drive home while others were still in the paddock:)
140 treadwear also kept you out of 'race' categories in time attack. I have run the 01Rs (for years) 11Rs and am now on 71Rs and absolutely love em. They are also more affordable than 'top brands' such as Mich et al. I run 16" rims and often get full sets of 225/45 or 50/16s for $600-750. |
Saw this yesterday (Friday, 6.4.21) on my way to dinner and snapped a picture. I'm not familiar with the brand; is it a McLaren?

Good eye! That is indeed a McLaren. Looks to be the 720S.

Fun fact, Matt Farah of The Smoking Tire was reviewing this Lotus Evora on track this day.

I've got a bunch of photos of cars on my Galaxy S10+ but I have no idea how to post them here
|
You need to host them somewhere ie. Photobucket, Flickr, Imgur etc.

Vintage Porsche. I don't know what model year. Picture I took today, Saturday, 6.19.2021.

A VW Karmann Ghia. I don't know what model year. These remind me of being a little kid. Photo taken Saturday, 6.26.2021.

^ Nice! I just saw one the other day too. Will post it up in a bit.

Oh yes that's a nice one. Looks like a later model too from the one I posted, judging by the tail lights. |

Coolio! There were a few cars I wanted to take pictures of today but I was driving and couldn't get pictures of them; one was an early 1970s Mercedes SL convertible and the other was an old Porsche. Oh well. |

Not a great picture, but a Cadillac from the Malaise Era. These also remind me of being a little kid. By the mid and late 1970s, in Los Angeles at least, these cars were considered something that old white people drove.
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...aaadd114_h.jpg Photo by me Photo taken last night in bumper-to-bumper heavy traffic on the way home from Santa Barbara. The Audi ahead of the Cadillac had tail lights that weren't working, and it's a newish car. |
Audi e-tron Sportback. I feel like electric cars are becoming more and more common. Photo taken today, Monday, 7.5.2021.
