Hard to say. In theory they could start today.

Fuck. Yeah.

Quite excited about this one. Chicago's getting another Pelli tower.....his better contemporary work can be truly sublime.....I have lofty expectations here.....

Randomguy34 Jun 22, 2017 4:56 PM

6 stories of basement parking means that this building is going to take a while before it reaches above the 1st floor

Pelli Clarke Pelli did the initial master plan design, but I think this tower will also be primarily designed by bKL....?

Edit: I now remember reading something about how for this tower, Pelli would actually design, and bKL would act as AOR...does this ring a bell for anyone or am I making this up?

According to Curbed, Wolf Point East is Pelli Clarke Pelli with Pappageorge Haymes as AoR. No mention of bKL.

This is correct; Pappageorge Haymes is the AOR. bKL was the AOR for the West Tower. Interior public spaces were designed by a different firm but confidentiality issues prevent me from saying who.

Awesome! The Chicago river just keeps getting better. Let's hope the Reid Murdock hotel proposal, GEMS II, and 110 Wacker get started soon as well.

bKL was also of course the design architect for the west tower, not just the AOR (if they were that as well).....

AOR is good work for P/H......they should focus more there.....
