^ Nice shots and thanks for the contribution.

Green is the perfect color for that location. This building is turning into an unexpected stunner.

Bvic that overhead shot is awesome. Shows how much those fins will draw eyes in. Any word if the fins will be lit up in anyway. It would look cool with the legacy crown in the background, corresponding vertical lighting. But that lighting would just piss off too many tenants im sure.

I love how you can see the termination of the shear wall at the setback

This one is becoming very visible from street level at different areas in the south loop. A welcome addition

It's a beautiful day for a crane jump. They are adding 8 sections to the crane today, you can watch from the Field Museum Earthcam. They will add the sections at a pace of around 1 per hour. If any of you photographers are in the area, might be worth stopping by!

Is the "McCormick Place Busway" that runs alongside the tracks actually used much?

Converting that busway and the barren land between the busway and the tracks into part of Grant Park would markedly diminish the eyesore impact of the railway area.

Its not exactly all that much cheaper to just convert the bus way to park and leave the tracks exposed. It will still be a huge multi million dollar job, and if you are trying to get that much cash committed, might as well pitch the plan for covering the entire gaping scar.

And to answer your question, the bus way isn't used all that frequently, but it is used enough by people of means and clout that it won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
