My vote is still on the side that the image you shared is a low-res placeholder. The article states the building "will utilize a mass-timber structure and be clad in a steel structure façade." This language is more aligned with the renderings originally presented to the committee. In addition, the image you shared doesn't reflect the 5th floor that will be added to 871 N. Franklin Street.

We'll just have to wait and see..

These are the newest renders for the 2 taller towers in phase 1/2, which match the glassy low rise versions renders. So I'd say the glassy low rise is probably close to the final product, as that render seems otherwise accurate.

JDL kicking a** and taking names like they have something to prove. OCS only broke ground a little over 3 years ago!

They are consistently the fastest moving developer in the city. The time between announcement and execution is unmatched. For example the Tribune Tower, the new spire site development and OCS were all announced basically in the same month. OCS is complete the other two haven't started.

shoutout to JDL for not bullshittin and being punctual when it comes to developing a megaproject...unlike some other companies lol

lakeshoredrive Aug 24, 2022 10:26 PM

How tall will 920 be?

Randomguy34 Aug 25, 2022 12:32 AM

^ It'll be 250 feet and 21 stories. They look to be finishing the 6th floor, so there's 15 more floors to go

JDL finishing actual projects before other teams can finish their renderings.
