FORT WORTH | Deco 969 | 311 FEET | 26 FLOORS

Southern Land Co just went before Fort Worth's downtown design review board.

http://southernland.com/

Things are very preliminary currently, only just started. The building will be L shaped wrapping around a historic lowrise. 2 floors below grade parking. Along Commerce will be 6k sqft of retail and the main entrance of the building. Above that will be a 6 level garage. The tower rises along the Commerce Street side, with an amenity deck above the garage. Expected start time is 12 months.

Currently the site is just a surface parking block, one block from the Amtrak and Central transit hub, and one block from the Convention Center.

Small rendering from the Downtown Annual update. The first we've seen that is'nt just white blocks. The height has grown as well, up to 35 floors.

Building has changed design a bit, now L shaped and a bit shorter but more units. Thread title updated.

Where did the 311 foot height come from? I'd like to update the database page for it, but I need a source.

Here's the 311' number.

The developer has also posted it their site. No construction permits have been sent yet, but did go to FAA OE with a Feb 2020 start date.
