wow. chunky from that angle

Magnificent shot, Joe!
Man I really wish they would add a few hundred feet to the buildings that will front Harrison. It's always irked me that the skyline drops off so dramatically south of the Sears/311 S Wacker cluster. Maybe an Amazon tower at the old Post Office site will help with things :) |

^Nice pics, all around. This entire area of the City appears so dense from these vantage points.

Does anyone know what the next phase of Riverline is supposed to be and when it's supposed to start construction?
|
For my money, this is the most exciting project happening in Chicago. Supertalls are obviously sexy and whether it's infill or dramatic additions like OGP, there's a lot to be said about adding to and activating neighborhoods.
This could for all intents and purposes create a mini neighborhood of its own, and that's impressive. |

It felt like it took them forever to do the foundations + podium.

Proposed 80-story wooden skyscraper may be a preview of tall timber future
https://www.curbed.com/2017/10/9/164...ing-skyscraper I don't recall seeing this discussed. Is this just fantasy? Usually 80 stories gets noticed around here. It's proposed as part of the Riverline project, replacing the NW tower if it were to go through. |

On another note, when are the next few buildings slated to start? |

Its rising pretty quick now that they are past the garage.
Anyone know how tall this specific tower is going to top out at? 380 ft? |
