I totally missed that this already had financing. That's Huge sounds like this one is a done deal barring another recession.

It looks ok while it is just 1 tower, but am I the only person who thinks when both are built, the bases together are going to be (for lack of better wording) overwhelming? It is basicly 1 massive podium.

No worries the second tower will almost certainly be redesigned.

Wow, sometimes when I look at renders and pre production drawings and then compare them with the finished product, I feel the drawing was misleading. But, with this one I feel the statement it'll make on the outline of the park will be inline with the drawings/rendering. This will be a statement building! Something I show my friends when they visit Chicago. Very excited if this comes to fruition!

Just thought I'd share some elevations, dated 10/21. Looks like the "crown" is gone and replaced by actual floor space. Height still reads 887'-2"

Was the crown originally meant to be a rooftop deck to anyone's knowledge? If it was simply for decoration I prefer the update with floor space. I didn't like the appearance of the crown much anyway.

May I ask where you got this drawing?

Skyguy_7, do you have permission to post these working drawings? Renderings are one thing, but I'm always concerned when I see detailed working drawings posted on here..

^They're from a public FTP site, used to post bid docs for sub-contractors. So, nothing unethical here. I've also got elevation dwgs for the new spire site proposal. Looks like they're keeping with the 2,000' figure.

I also didn't realize the second floor was coworking office space (WeWork).

This rendering definitely makes it easier to swallow the ugly pill that was the height reduction on Medium Jahn.
