Nope. As I recall, that went to Columbia College as part of their purchase of the Johnson Publishing Building, and then I think I heard they had sold it to someone else. Possibly East-West University, which I think maybe has an ownership position in the Loftrium next door.

Someone cue the bananas... caisson mobilization will take place this week with drilling occurring next week.

Drilling caissons will begin on Monday if someone would like to stop by and take a some photos.

I passed the site on the bus this morning. Caisson drill is there and set up; it looks like it was active, but in that short time window I didn't see any spinning motion so I can't say for sure.

Ditto... just saw a glimpse from the green line.

Drilling has commenced and the temporary casing for the first caisson has been set. This project is officially under construction!

I dont know how to put bananas up so here's my invisible one dancing.

Are they allowed to park concrete trucks on michigan? This is a tight site with a small alley. It will be fun to see how they coordinate everything going on at once.

Concrete operations will be on 8th street for the structure. Major deliveries and skip hoist will be on Michigan.
