Per Reddit, the parking lot closed. I passed by here a few days ago and took a few shots

Scheduled to begin Oct. 1 of this year. The virus probably delay that start date. 724ft is also given to this building for the "highest point" |

I always love seeing a parking lot tore up!

Per Yimby member "apophenic":
"" Spoke to the foreman on site today. He said they are driving test piles, said “it’ll be a while before any real construction gets started.” they’ve driven about 15 test piles on site. "" |
I've seen buildings go from test piles to under construction in a month, but usually it's at least 2.

The crystal ball that I bought in 2017 from a man named Q-Tip at Penn Station lied to me. It told me 2020 was going to be a good year. It also told me NYC would reach 9 million residents. Yeah, that comment did not age well lol. I almost wanna say 2023 here we come, but I don't want to jinx it, and cause some asteroid to hit us. Quote:

I was hoping this one would proceed to construction by now.
|
Hopefully it wasn't delayed with the Fall uncertainty.
