If you don't like the people here, and the content then why are you still here

Thanks for the insight Mr. I just joined. My opinion stands. FILLER! This is nothing more than mediocrity with its own thread.

^ I don't think you're understanding what we're criticizing. We don't care if you think the building is filler. That's a perfectly legit opinion.

What makes no sense is why you're accusing us of gushing over this property like a bunch of fools. We're not. This is a thread to discuss a skyscraper under construction. This is Skyscraperpage.com

It's what we do. So your initial comment that triggered all of this was kind of a head scratcher.

Hey hey hey now.....this could have been a quite wholesome construction update, but you had to go and make it all dirty.....

Shame Harry!

Wondering what's going on at the site....

James Mac???

New Job?

Very long vacation?

Sabbatical?

I'd hate to actually have to walk over there to check on progress..... :D

I took Randolph on my way to Grant Park. Can post photos later. They've got sheet piling on the perimeter and are digging down. A few feet so far.

That's some serious clay right there.

I'm back! Sorry for the very long hiatus - I took a couple of weeks vacation and was then completely overrun with work when I got back. Fortunately, not much happened at the site. They dug a big hole. I noticed today, though, that they appear to be poring concrete in it.

Welcome back, but inactivity is never "fortunate" in our eyes! I almost forgot how good of a vantage point you have. Does your office extend to the South to catch the upcoming 130 N Franklin action?

It does. I just posted a photo in the 130 thread which shows the view (or part of it).
