Damn, y'all are fired up.

I will say this -- the cladding in person is a little puzzling to me. I thought the goal was to have large windows for the patient rooms--I remember reading in the planning about how important outside views/skyline views etc etc. are for patients/family/healing process.

The metal - rusty brown (or shit brown) dominates. I understand if the goal was to blend in the surrounding brick -- but the materials are so different (brick to wavy/rippled metal).

I do like the overhang part, and the shape isn't as bad as cruise ship, there's an angle -- but I do think a little more attention could've been had on the outer aesthetics.

At least some of the buildings are just boxes or rectangles. They at least try on variations of them.

God damn this is ugly.

The architectural choices Penn has made since the era of Rhodes and John Fry are terrible.

They may not be to your taste (or, for that matter, to mine), but I'm not sure they're all necessarily "terrible":

^ dude, stop spamming. Most of these shots don't even contain the Penn Pav, nor do we need thing duplicate posts across 3 threads.

This tower is in 5 of the shots I posted above. I posted an update, so enjoy the shots instead of wasting a post to complain. Thanks

So in other words, you've cluttered up this thread with 16 shots that have nothing to do with this project? God, just don't be lazy and tailor your post per project.

Thank you for your pics tk. Please don’t be discouraged. We need pic takers on this site. You are a true value!

Exactly.
Sure, 16 pics was a lot to cross-post.
But somebody could just point that out instead of telling him to stop spamming and he could've just posted the two most relevant pics like he did with the edit.
Smh.

TK: I don't think its an over reaction. Seeing a ton of photos three or more times over can be exasperating, but not all of us go to the trouble to complain at the time. Your photos are indeed valuable and appreciated. Just don't be resistant to constructive criticism. I'm much more enjoying your photos now that they are not humongous for example.
