does anyone has pics of construction?

Lecom Nov 27, 2005 7:37 PM

Cool, but still looks like a shampoo bottle.

Great but do you ever think newspapers will get their facts straight? At least when dealing with world records.

This building has a really cool design! Very clean and elegant lines and I like the texture as well.
It will make quite a statement on the skyline!

It's been a long time since the 2nd (or 3rd) tallest has gotten any update.:(

Any pics these days?

Odd they would want to build it in Pusan, rather than Seoul - easily the most prestigious city in South Korea, the center of government and commerce, AND home to 1/4 of the national population.

I suppose it's Pusan's bid to come out from behind Seoul's shadow.

Right.
And the ferris wheel as well.
How dare the developers spoil such a significant project ?

I guess it's a knock off of London's equally silly "Viewing Wheel?"

I agree that big boxy tower on the other side of the bridge is out of proportion and should either be redseigned or removed altogether. The ferris wheel, though it may be a scary ride, doesn't fit in with the project.

Beautiful tower! Great renderings!

Dump the ferris wheel and the squat tower and replace with a smaller version of this tower like 1IFC 2IFC in Hong Kong and you got an impressive set of towers there, the tower is awesome, but the other stuff is just HOKEY

maximumchunk Feb 12, 2006 1:51 AM

Impressive tower....awful ferris wheel. If I worked/lived in that tower, I would grow rather annoyed of that horrendous ferris wheel creation.

JBinCalgary Feb 12, 2006 4:01 AM

great design, but i hope that monster across the river never gets off the drawing board. because that thing is just grotesquely oversized

tuy Feb 12, 2006 4:46 AM

Both buildings are shown oversize. I saw this several places when I was in Korea last year.

Slugbelch Sep 8, 2006 5:10 PM

Yep. It's still alive. I think.

Big hole, not a tower crane in sight, maybe 1 or 2 pieces of earth moving equipment. hmmm

Slugbelch Sep 8, 2006 5:22 PM

Yeah, I don't see much after a half year since the last posted pic.

Fabb Sep 8, 2006 5:34 PM

But the foundation pit looks huge. That's a good sign.
