Such a nice and exciting project, just love it and can't wait to go check it out in Toronto as soon as we can travel within Canada... :rolleyes:
For some reason Pinnacle One reminds me of a Miami building, not sure why. Balconies, some round curves, exterior spaces. In the past towers with balconies made a building look ugly now it can add special elements to the shape and silhouette of it all.

It is quite delicious to see this entire waterfront scheme in one quality render. I know there's a lot of ambiguity on the quality of Sugar Wharf, but I'm hopeful that the reactions to phase 1 or whatever is being built alongside phase 1 of Pinnacle will prompt either a design overhaul or minor changes to material quality that will bring Sugar wharf up to par. Perhaps hopeful thinking but the consensus seems to be that Pinnacle's building design quality is true to the renders if not better, which should put pressure on its ugly neighboursto do something better for the next phase.

The phase one tower at 51 storeys of its eventual 65 will really soar when complete… until it's eventually dwarfed somewhat by its 95s and 80s siblings. The “channel” elements already emphasize the verticality of this ‘shortest’ phase of One Yonge’s residential towers.
