I am curious with all of the new office development development relocating from auto oriented areas to Conshohocken which is more urban by nature and has regional rail connection if more people from those companies will take public transit to the these new offices than before?

While it would be best case scenario for these companies to move to Center City, being in a place like Conshohocken is the second best option, kind of like in places like Silver Springs/ Bethesda.

Maybe? But with 4 levels of parking attached to the office bldg, I think it is still very car dependent.

I think Silver Springs/Bethesda is more built up and the size & scale of these towns are much larger than Conshy. Probably a better comparison would be the King of Prussia area.

14-story office tower coming to downtown Conshohocken

A 14-story, 260,000-square-foot office building next to the Schuylkill will be built and opened by late next year in Conshohocken, adding to a borough increasingly sought after by developers in recent years.

The complex, named Seven Tower Bridge, is a collaboration among Oliver Tyrone Pulver Corp., American Real Estate Partners, and the investment management firm Partners Group. The office will sit on Washington Street, next to another American Real Estate property, the 345,000-square-foot Eight Tower Bridge at 161 Washington St.

A prominent tenant of Seven Tower Bridge will be investment management firm Hamilton Lane, which signed a lease Oct. 11 for office space, said Kate McGann, a spokesperson for the company. Hamilton Lane will move its headquarters to the top five floors of Seven Tower Bridge and feature its logo on the penthouse.

Seven Tower Bridge has been designed so the first floor rises 50 feet above grade level, according to Oliver Tyrone Pulver. It said in its statement that the building would be outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, a marble lobby, patio and terrace, bike room, fitness center, and parking under the building that boosts the first floor, “giving every office unobstructed views and natural light.”

Oliver Tyrone Pulver will lease 4,000 square feet and Conshohocken-based Shoemaker Construction will lease 5,000 square feet. There are 121,000 square feet still available.

What an ugly building.
Sorry, but it's true.

If it's the lower floors of parking that bother you, it is in the Schuylkill's flood plain so the lower floors of parking are not a design choice.

^^^
None of the "Tower Bridge" Bldgs are gonna win any design awards, but it's a noteworthy project that Conshy can claim. Good on them. And it's a company HQ that is more important that has decided to stay in the area. They were "office shopping."

Which probably explains the parking being above ground. But remember that bank is about 10 or 15 feet above the river. The water looks high there, it has rained a lot recently.

Still happy to see more highrises and density in Philly's burbs. It's cool that Conshy currently has TWO highrises under construction. I'd be surprised to see the hotel highrise get out of the ground anytime soon now with hotels taking a huge hit from COVID.
