I'm a little confused - the photo posted by R@pter that is supposedly dated from 11.30 shows the building way past the foundation stage....but the photo posted above looks like this thing hasn't gotten out of the ground - what is the status of this puppy?

Woooow. Has anyone noticed that in the picture of the models above that the tall building on the left is just about a dead ringer for the original WTC towers?............with the exception of the fascade of course. Chamferred sides and roof perimeter too.

That was the building on the right in this render. the main tower plot was in the background.

I've got to make my way there at some point. Tianjin (along with Wuhan) are the only two 10 million+ person cities I've yet to visit in China.
