Stunning photo, Joe. Thanks for sharing!

I missed all the drama, but whatever.

Hey Joe, try watermarking your photos with your name or a 50% transparent Yo Chicago logo. It won't prevent theft but I will clear up any misconceptions about creative ownership. It's a great photo and thanks for sharing.

Wolf Point East as Seen From Sears Tower (Willis Tower)

It looks like Wolf Point - East Tower, the yellow tower crane plainly noticeable this morning from the ABC 7, Eyewitness News webcam (lower left corner of photo), will have a very pronounce and long lasting, line of sight, visual relationship with the observation deck at the Sears Tower (Willis Tower) as Wolf Point - East Tower partially fills in and nicely scaled, a long lasting architectural void in the near northwest region of the Loop.

As a side note and analogous in nature to pilings and caissons in the ground, but relative to microscale meteorology of an orographic nature, the tall buildings in Chicago, being that they are tightly and uniformly placed on a near horizontal, thus planar surface of a laminar nature, in addition to generating urban thermal plume a.k.a. heat island, cloud formations (see photo at bottom) since the buildings radiate in a thermal sense like massive heat sinks, are also functioning like pier structures immersed in a low viscosity liquid - a.k.a. atmosphere, and from such, are routinely impeding the dispersal of suspended pollutants e.g. toxic gasses and aerosols (see photo below).

I am sharing such observations since every caring citizen and sincere developer in our nation a.k.a. "a good steward", should be acutely aware of and at all times, the macro scale ramifications of their architectural desires upon the environment to include the tenuous atmosphere.

^ Everyone knows that urban thermal plumes are caused by chem trails for the purpose of mind control via the shadow government-funded airline industry.

Was on-site today getting some progress shots from Walsh. Will have a lot more in the coming days - including some cool curtain wall install shots - but here's a quick edit from the tower crane mast. Only had about 5-6 more sections before reaching the cab, but the swaying, creaking, and twisitng was too much for me :haha:. Maybe next time...baby steps

This might be the worst run-on sentence I've ever seen... Also, looks like someone found a thesaurus for the first time and went wild lol

Love the pictures though, just confused by the relevancy and what the comment is even trying to imply (as are many other users)

I found out my great grandfather wrote a book like that. At the time of finding out, my Aunt had a copy - one of only a few in the world (there was another at the NYU library or something). I had to stop reading after a page because it was the biggest BS ever. Like someone wanted to prove they were really smart by using a ton of really huge words nobody knew the definitions of. Although - his kids and grandkids are all super smart, so who knows. Maybe some people understand it - found it cited in a book with a legitimate run down of what it's about.

The worst part is that someone started re-publishing this crap a few years ago. The post made a little sense, but brought back memories of that LOL.
