Better get used to OMP since it will be here long after we're all gone. Besides, I've grown to like it. To me it looks like a retired ship looking back longingly at the Lake.

It took them under a week to form and pour the Cube, and couldn't have cost more than $50k. Crescent Heights Group PLEASE just give us a cube on top of this cube!

So far the South Loop is the victor of this cycle if we add up some arbitrary number of points between design, height, number, and skyline impact. Probably will win the next two cycles as well, given how many lots it has and how much more attractive it has grown over the last 20 years to those moving into the city

This is definitely her best angle. When seen from the McCormick Lakeside Center, it is side by side with Sears, almost exactly the same size if flattened against a 2D plane.

It just goes to remind us how absolutely MASSIVE Sears is when a building like NEMA, which grabs headlines for its contextual height, is diminutive when seen in the greater skyline.

This is also the angle that makes NEMA look the most Sears-like.

Indeed this is one of the less flattering views of Chicago, although NEMA is helping a fair amount.

Chicago's skyline looks much more impressive from the east and north, as spyguy's other photos have shown.

I'm a huge fan of surprising vistas and vantage points, and this is one of them. Great eye, CP.

This angle will be aided greatly by the 78 plus two more cycles filling in the south loop. We just need patience :(
