6/13/18 update. Going to be an interesting structure to watch rise. Foundations in the lower left are very interesting. Getting to the point where we should be ready to start going vertical soon.

This is now rising out of the ground. First supports going up at West Pine and Kingshighway.

The tower crane base is now in place. Awaiting a concrete pour around the base and we should have the tower crane being installed at some point next week (possibly next weekend?)

Tower crane going up. After Centene this marks the official vertical start for a new tallest for 2 of St. Louis' 3 skylines (Clayton and CWE.) Pretty cool to see them both going up at the same time.

This is the type of building a rustbelt city needs to reinstill confidence in its residents, happy to see St Louis making strides to build intriguing architecture.

Crane visible from practically anywhere. I would've stopped on Hampton and taken some photos of it from those views but there were to many cars. So instead, I went to Art Hill and Euclid/West Pine to take some photos of the crane. Nice to see one over Central West End again (last one was only two years ago).

This is something new. Apartments.com now has a webpage up for One Hundred. While it isn't fully finished yet (no floor plans, renderings or rents) it does give us a breakdown of how many units of what (Studio, 1, 2 and 3 Bedrooms) are going to be in the building. The breakdown goes like this...
Studio: 35 1 Bedroom: 120 2 Bedroom: 120 3 Bedroom: 30 Total Number of Units is 305. I remember that at the groundbreaking they said that rent here would go for $3 per square foot which is a premium and on par with the rest of Central West End. I'll keep my eye on this page and others that I know of. Link: https://www.apartments.com/one-hundr...is-mo/67vfehs/ |
^^ That must be a joke? Unless you mean per month?

For One Hundred, lets apply the same logic... Studio: 35 Units = $42,000 a month overall ($1200 a month per unit estimated) 1 Bedroom: 120 Units = $288,000 a month overall ($2400 a month per unit estimated) 2 Bedroom: 120 Units = $360,000 a month overall ($3000 a month per unit estimated) 3 Bedroom: 30 Units = $108,000 a month overall ($3600 a month per unit estimated) Total revenue in a month: $798,000 (estimated) Total revenue in a year: $9,576,000 But I am not including the view rent or what floor rent. Actual units may be smaller than this and cost more but this is just speculation. |

You can see the first instance of the "slanting walls" forming in the bottom left of this image. The first floor is very narrow (as will be each floor with terraces) but the flowering design gives the upper most floor of each tier the biggest floor plates. You can now start to see the pattern that the wall along Kingshighway will make by comparing this image to the newest rendering. Also in the bottom left, the poles with the large boxes around them will have the slants to them too. It may be hard to see, but the one closest to the street, in the bottom left of the photo, you can see some slanting rebar, just barely. Excavation is also way underway on the opposite end on the site. You can see the design there too. The whole first floor layout, I could see, being done by the second week of August. Elsewhere, other places are being uncovered to be turned into footings for the Parking Garage/Podium.

The core is now visible from the pool at the Chase and is on its way up!

Great looking tower that is rather original looking.

Wow, gorgeous building
 |
Found 2 new renderings of the tower (amenity deck and the landscaping along Kingshighway). At least they show some things up close. I wish there were more perspectives of the tower.

Photos from the Cameras today. The podium just had it's second floor deck poured while the ramp and partial decking for floor 3 are going in. This means that the side facing the Chase is half way done (Podium wise). Once the podium is finished, the tower will fly. The slanted walls are become more prevalent.

They have hit the final level of the parking podium and are transitioning to residential floors. Things should start to speed up from here. From the webcam today, they are installing the concrete pump next to the core.
