The only source that stated 30 stories was the article I posted a few pages back. I swear the media is lurking these threads and basing the "reports" of 30 stories off of what was posted here, lol.

With that being said, Hines like to build big when they can. This could mean something significant at Colliers, so I could see them going 30 if given the chance.

It's finally nice out again. That week or so of the highs barely reaching into the 60s was brutal. I bought a new lens today, a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM. I had a 70-200 f/4, but it was flawed and didn't focus very fast. I sold it and upgraded. I wanted to play with it, so I went for a walk near some construction sites downtown. Since it is a telephoto lens, these photos are tighter than my usual shots. I'll go back another time with a wide angle.

Thanks for the pictures, Haux. I think I've said it before, but an anchor like H&M or Forever 21, with the college nearby, could do well for the AZ Center. It already looks a lot more striking than it did with all the beige 90's design going on.

The Stewart still confuses me given how so much of the building remains unbuilt, yet windows and railings are already going in.

Still not sure what I gauge for this project cause it's very bloated for that area but I'd be impressed if the 19 story apartment building were built and the lot around Knipe house were developed. But 300K of office space...how much would that translate to??

I’m so pessimistic about RO2 I suspect that even if they somehow beat the odds and start construction, it’s going to be a half-built shell looming over Roosevelt Row for years.

I wish Phoenix would actually vet the developer before they engage with such risky projects.

General question .... with the two cranes for Link and Stewart..... It is hard for me to tell. With the height of the cranes now versus the final height of the buildings, will these cranes currently fit the construction in or will the buildings be higher than the current crane height?

the Stewart Crane is as tall as the building will be, I think link will be higher than the crane is currently

Stewart crane is at 270' The Stewart will be about 28' shorter at 242'.

Link's crane is currently right around 250' give or take. It's eventually going to be 400', so it has at least another 150' to go up :yes:

Cool amd whew! Hoping my height judgement wasn't off and Link would be much taller than crane now.

I'm not impressed. It's what happens when developers have too large a lot. It's also a slap in the face compared to the developer's other projects in other cities which are larger and more architecturally interesting.

Saws multi-tower... do we know if rendering is only phase 1?

Also... capital investment is 200 million????

If you look closely there's a "ghost" image of development to the right of the image.

This thing seems kind of dodgy. I'm hard pressed to discover how they could have built it more cheaply. It's almost Soviet in how unimaginative it is.
