Chicago Forum meet???
 

Is there any interest in finally getting together an official Chicago forum meet? I'd love to be able to finally meet the many of you whom I haven't already had the pleasure of meeting! There's so many active SSPers here in town that I think it's crazy we haven't had a meet in what seems to be forever!

Reply if you're up for getting a meet-up together, I'll do the planning! Perhaps mid August, so there are a couple of weeks to get things scheduled?

Yes! The last wee mini Wrigleyville meetup with you and Pip was a gem. And beer.

And I don't get out on my own nearly enough (or at all).

August weekends are already filling up fast for me, maybe push this into September to give folks a little more heads up? (unfortunately, my life requires fairly long lead times these days).

Anytime with a few weeks notice. Might be at my cottage in Wisconsin if it's in August though...

I'll be mostly out of town the first half of August.

I'll be in Chicago August 15-18th and would definitely be down for a meetup then.

I'd say this is perfect. Enough notice for people, enough time for me to get a scheduled day off from my job! :)

How about August 17th, which is that Saturday? Who's down, perhaps meet early afternoon and proceed from there?
