project in the early phases, and will still require design review approval from the city. the building is in a zone that doesn't limit height or require parking, but will still include 315 parking spaces, according to boisedev.com.

Idaho Statesman article this week said this project is moving closer to reality.

Still needs to go through design review, however.

this project is now under construction. here's an image from Boisedev.com showing the parcel being cleared; this is from a couple of weeks ago, and activity has ramped up quickly since then.

here's the final rendering that was approved. according to the Idaho Statesman last year, the hotel is 15 floors, not 14 as earlier stated (image from the Idaho Statesman):

It looks like there will be two cores, one for each side of the building. I'm very glad this building did not go through with the old, brown design, as it would not help our skyline diversify.

this should help fill in the gap between One Capital and The Arthur in this shot from SSC:

We just need something tall to replace the WAFD to completely fill in the gap. Then we'll start to see the true density of downtown from the Depot.

Sawtooth said he will be getting some pics of this one this weekend, so keep an eye out for those.
