Sorry Alberta Wheat Pool, and I'mma letchu finish, but Saskatchewan Wheat Pool had the best logo of all time! Of All Time!

Co-Op's logo is pretty good too.

When they merged, Air Canada should have adopted the goose from Canadian Airways:

the first two are good, but the last....I prefer the cp pacman http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VzYVEES66q.../cp+tj+01.jpga

It will never be as iconic as CN's worm:

Though an attempt was made:

After Hunter Harrison destroyed them they might as well have merged the two and made the logo an incomprehensible squiggle that represents poor safety standards and train wrecks.

hydroquebec, amazonaws

Not their official logo, but I also like how they ingeniously use the electrical plug in their marketing.

Great logo for St. John's/Newfoundland's hockey team :)

Ontario Hydro makes better use of the plug idea:

Thunder Bay's hydro looks like a guy with a mullet. After nearly 30 years on this planet I still don't know what it's actually supposed to be:

I used to find these logos scary when I was a kid:

I'm guessing their n~35, as it says in the small print (their data is user-supplied...) In the real world, no way NY isn't Yankees, TX isn't Cowboys, and I doubt the Celtics are more popular than either of Pats and Red Sox? And California's top team is a San Diego team I can't even identify?!? No way. (That's just at first sight.)

Ontario would be Jays not Leafs? How un-Canadian...... :P

MolsonExport Jun 27, 2017 3:22 AM

n=37
:haha:

That's a clever way to have an 'O' and an 'H'. Using only the two relevant letters and managing to form a totally appropriate image with it -- that's a really good logo design job.

In fact when I re-read the small print I saw that they had actually set the bar at 35 replies... hence my edit... statistically, that's complete crap. No conclusions to be drawn from that. ;)

There are better looking Blue Jays in Nebraska?!?

That's what I learned today from SSP.

I like how the McDonald's logo ties into the architecture of the early restaurants. A very good logo (unlike their food :P), elegant and instantly recognizable.

I'm wondering what that panther head is for Illinois -- doesn't seem to be the Blackhawks, nor the Cubs, nor the Bulls, nor the White Sox, nor the Bears...?

Seems to me, you need an exceptionally small sample size (plus random forces at play) to end up with something other than a Chicago pro sports team as the top most popular team in the state!

Most transit systems have very designed-by-committee logos that will need to be upgraded every 10 years. Not the TTC:

I miss the simplicity of 60s and 70s logo designs... less really is more in this respect

The old Bank of Montreal logo is a classic, the new one reflects the bland corporatist aesthetic of our time. Thankfully the old logo remains atop BMO's "headquarters" on Place-D'Armes.

I've always loved the old Metro Toronto logo:

National Film Board is a classic:

Kinda reminds me of a slightly less creepy version of the neighbourhood watch icon: (is this just a Toronto/Ontario thing, or is it everywhere in Canada?)
