]Census: May 2022 Business Applications from Corporations, by State
There doesn't seem to be much rhyme and reason in the varying growth stats that swing wildly seemingly from state to state in much of the country.
Census: May 2022 Business Applications from Corporations, by State and (% Growth in Monthly Applications From Previous 12 Months) CA 11,394(+5.0%) FL 7,626(-22.3%) NY 6,751(+5.5%) TX 2,845(+0.2%) IL 2,715(-1.9%) GA 1,608(-2.7%) MA 1,244(+0.5%) NJ 1,183(+8.5%) CO 1,093(+7.5%) PA 1,091(+7.2%) NC 1,081(-10.7%) DE 831(+16.5%) VA 806(+1.0%) MI 735(-6.3%) OH 647(-18.2%) TN 609)-7.3%) MD 572(-7.7%) WA 562(-2.6%) IN 502(-5.5%) AZ 451(-23.3%) MN 442(-7.7%) NV 421(-22.0%) UT 421(+10.5%) OR 321(-6.4%) WY 303(-13.4%) AL 302(+5.6%) MO 289(-12.7%) WI 279(-5.1%) CT 267(+7.2%) SC 257(+1.6%) OK 253(-8.0%) LA 251(-19.6%) KY 236(+9.8%) AR 218(+5.8%) KS 179(+1.8%) ID 174(+21.7%) MS 161(-14.4%) IA 157(-4.8%) HI 119(-18.5%) MT 119(+14.4%) RI 101(-8.2%) NE 99(+1.0%) DC 96(+10.3%) ME 86(-12.2%) NM 78(-10.3%) WV 65(+3.2%) SD 62(+12.7%) NH 43(-41.9%) VT 40(+21.2%) ND 38(-15.6%) AK 35(-14.6%) I chose the annual growth rate for corporate business applications because I'm interested in start ups and brand new corporations, here is the link to the other stats you can choose to look at: https://www.census.gov/library/visua...-by-state.html |
I think you would have to do it per capita.
EDIT: Though I guess the percentages are OK to not do per capita. |
But I thought businesses were leaving California in droves.:rolleyes:
