In a virtual press conference, Fernandes added that Gojek’s investment is valued at US$40 million while GoPay’s is at US$10 million, and these will be transferred into shares for the AirAsia Super App, which is valued at US$1 billion.

Besides that, HLIB said XL Axiata added 750,000 to its total subscribers base or 1.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to 56.8 million, as both prepaid and postpaid saw positive developments.

In the first phase of the service, customers will be able to transfer funds from Malaysia to Cambodia, while transfers from Cambodia to Malaysia will be rolled out at a later date, said Maybank.

Elia Group is one of the largest and reputable transmission system operators in Europe.

Elia is the transmission operator in Belgium and Germany, serving around 30 million customers.

It has over 19,000km of high voltage lines in the two countries with more than 45,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity in RE.

In a statement, TNB said the MoU was its second collaboration with Elia.

The first MoU was signed in September 2017 and expired in September 2020.

President and chief executive officer Datuk Ir Baharin Din said as one of Europe's top five transmission systems operators with a reliability level of 99.999 per cent, TNB was looking forward to tapping on Elia's expertise even further.

"There is also a lot that Elia can share with TNB, especially towards a successful energy transition in the area of RE, as TNB will be integrating large volumes of RE going forward," he said.

The new MoU, which is drawn upon the previous MoU but with a more structured implementation effort to yield greater tangible results, encompasses five key focuses.

They are operational excellence, future trends for utilities, regulatory framework, system operations new bearing, and business ventures.

Both parties will also exchange technical information through annual reports and surveys, solutions to problems, technical visits, study trips, and the necessary training programs.

"We believe all these will be of significant benefits to both TNB and Elia," Baharin said.

"The group has offset the estimated life cycle carbon footprint of the LNG cargo through renewables-based carbon credits for the emissions generated from upstream gas exploration and production, transportation, liquefaction, and shipping of the cargo.

"Additionally, the carbon credits used by Petronas for the delivery were certified through a rigorous verification process under the Verified Carbon Standard program," it added.
