PITTSBURGH | UPMC Mercy Vision and Rehabilitation | 197 FT | 10 FLOORS
This is another one of the three specialty hospitals planned for UPMC. All are located east of downtown and will be connected to existing structures.

Hey wpipkins2 - unfortunately the floor count minimum on the forum to create a thread is 12 floors, so I'm going to close this one down.
This looks like a lovely project though! |

If we get a height that exceeds 115 feet this can be placed back over to high rise construction. :) |

UPMC VISION AND REHABILITATION HOSPITAL AT UPMC MERCY 10 story building, new ≈ 180ft high, screen to 197ft ≈ 410,000 GSF Since this document is over 4 years old, the architectural height could have been revised, but the number of floors has not changed, and it's virtually impossible that the architectural height could have gone from 197 ft to <115 ft. Thus, I am sure this project qualifies for the Highrise Construction forum! |

^ Thanks for moving this thread, to increase Pittsburgh's representation on the Highrise Construction forum. This is probably the first time that the city has three projects listed here, and soon there will be four!

Whats the 4th? |

^ The 1501 Penn office project should be coming online before either of those, considering that demolition of the structure on the sire is already well underway. And the apartments by PNC Park are only like 5 stories or some crap like that... and there are more substantial apartment building projects than the PNC Park ones already underway (see Oakland).
