I asked the same question, and found out that trees are a rendering/archi trick to bring out certain design elements. Such as arching windows or set backs.
I don't think they would put trees. I mean they could... they'd just have to move them inside or shelter them when that bastard Polar Vortex fella returns for his revenge. He always comes every winter, just as that groundhog wakes up from his sleep on February 2nd, because every February 3rd of the year, he overdoses on a gallon of Gin and NyQuil. |

Wow...now both block long behemoths are going up over street level at the same time... when is 3 Hudson Boulevard joining the party, and to your best info with the bit of a bump back up in size how many stories/height?
To see two big boys going up is incredible... 3 with the other Manhattan West tower will be off the chain cool! |
