This seems to be going up rather quick. This will make the view looking down Chestnut Street from the west look very interesting.

Love all the activity going on this neighborhood-- this is obviously the largest project around here, but there's more coming:

-43rd and Chestnut former church site
-Yet-to-be announced small development coming to 43rd and Ludlow
-two 5-6 story apartment buildings filling gaps on the 4000 block of Ludlow St
-42nd and Ludlow apartment building under construction
-Orens Brothers' 44th and Ludlow building starting soon
-two apartment buildings about to begin side-by-side by the same developer on the 4300 block of Market
-University Place 3.0 about to begin with future projects in process
-numerous UCity Square projects in motion
-Tangen Hall at 40th and Sansom under construction
-new Penn dorm on 3900 block of Walnut under construction
-numerous underutilized properties, big and small, on Chestnut Street, Market Street, and Lancaster Ave corridors trading soon.
-Retail corridor on 0000 block of S 40th Street about to get at least 6 new retail tenants, 4 paying big rents
-Penn Medicine soon to announce plans for Elwyn Institute site (long term plan, Elwyn's new building in Camden is 2 years out)

I credit this area being correctly mapped for zoning so appropriate projects are by-right.

This building will start growing even faster now. They just started achieving a 3-day pour cycle. So we will see an added floor every 3-4 days from here until we get to the roof.

Any earthcam for this?

^Wow, thanks for posting.
12-13 floors now?? This thing shot up fast. I was out there mid-June and it was 4 floors high.

Glass already...
Hunter Roberts killing it between this and the Laurel.

It's a friggin weed. I live in the area and I haven't even noticed it. OTOH I have noticed that both of Penn's projects on 40th are going up.
