Isn't anyone interested in talking about what the F'ng material they used in the 'big squares' floor is?? It's the dullest jet black I've seen... in a picture, anyway.

Off topic but here's a story about the water level in the lakes

Really remarkable considering lake Michigan-Huron reached its lowest level in 2013

It's only going to keep rising. The river at my cottage on the largest tributary of Lake Michigan in Wisconsin was at 99 year flood stage not only last spring, but twice already this year given the massive late season snowfall parts of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. We never saw it hit that 99 year line the entire first 20 years we owned it and now it's three crests in a year.

There's a lot of water upstream that's making it's way slowly towards the lakes. When our river floods it basically hits the 99 year line and can't rise any further because it just floods into huge marshes and rice lakes for miles outwards. Given how saturated the land is right now, the water level in the river will remain relatively high through fall.

NEMA (OGP) Above the Clouds - NOAA GLERL Webcam

Not saying such event has not happened in the past, but this morning (06:30 CDT) is the first time I have caught an image of a south loop building clearly visible above the clouds (marine layer), as seen from the NOAA GLERL webcam.

http://www.phisicalpsience.com/publi..._29may2019.jpg

An image about an hour later (07:40 CDT), most of the water vapor (clouds) having dissipated, suggest that if a person wishes to stay (live) in NEMA (OGP) and remain above the majority of the ground hugging, air pollution gases and suspended particles (Reddish Brown: Nitrogen Dioxide [NO2], Light Grey: Ozone [O3], Dark Grey: Carbon Soot,...) during a marginal air quality day, along with a buffer zone, needs to be about 650' ft (~198m) or higher, the pollution cap being around 600' ft (~183m). For scale, the height of the roof at Essex on the Park is 620' ft (~189m)[1].
