This is really going to cap the north end of the south bank/Wacker Drive beautifully. We are assuming full height should be somewhere near the top of the crane?

I think it was top of the crane before they added a couple more floors...

I've tried to overlay the schematic from https://www.333wolfpoint.com/the-icon/ with a picture I took last week from 110 Wacker during the Open House that I posted above. I might be off by one floor, in which case it would be 1 floor higher but I don't think more than that. We'll know very soon as the form is right at the first setback (which starts after floor 50) now with the steel close behind.

Didn't they announce the one tenant wanted larger floor heights and they were going to deliver it? That could potentially bump the height? This may have been talked about before on here.

Additionally JP Morgan's 270 Park Ave building u/c in NYC is planned to be 1,388 ft at 58 floors! That's 24 ft per floor vs 14 ft for this (though 14' is more in line with most office heights). I've never heard of floor plates that high. It sounds like it's going to be a palace. Makes me dream that Salesforce could have added 2 ft per floor or something lol.

To the best of my recollection Sales Force was pissed because it will delay their move in date to upper floors and certain subs were pissed because they had to redesign certain elements. If I remember correctly it was a law firm? I will do some digging.

That would be Kirkland and Ellis but I hadn't heard about any delays.

There are so many proposed or u/c office towers in NYC with absurd height relative to their floor count.

Project Commodore, 1,565 ft, proposed, 83 floors
270 Park Avenue, 1,388 ft, u/c, 57 floors
PENN 15, 1,270 ft, proposed, 67 floors
The Spiral, 1,041 ft, u/c, 66 floors
50 Hudson Yards, 1,011 ft, u/c, 58 floors
3 Hudson Blvd, 987 ft, 53 floors
