The famous tourist trap of Waterloo Region, St. Jacobs is commercialized to the point that little remains authentic other than the Mennonites. Regardless, the community has done an excellent job in preserving its large variety of heritage buildings not only along the main retail strip but also in the surrounding housing stock. |
