Waterloo Region's most famous tourist trap, St. Jacobs is commercialized to the point that nothing much remains authentic other than the occasional Mennonite. Regardless, the community has done an excellent job in preserving it's large variety of heritage buildings not only along the main retail strip but also in the surrounding housing stock. |
