Located on the banks of the Welland Canal, the fate of Port Robinson was sealed when a mishap along the canal caused the destruction of the bridge that once joined the east side of the village to the west side. Though not a ghost town, Port Robinson never regained momentum and remains a sleepy village with a tiny commercial core of three buildings - none of which contain retail anymore. |
