PORT COLBORNE, Ontario
Port Colborne is an entry and exit point of the Welland Canal at Lake Erie. The city has a rich history as a port and much of the retail core was built along the mouth of the canal. Port Colborne has two commercial centres: To the north is a district named Humberstone and the main downtown is further south closer to Lake Erie. Architecture in the city is typical of southern Ontario; one of the more noteworthy structures in the former Imperial Bank building.
