Pickering is a suburb that lacks a downtown area thus the gallery contains photos of the Frenchman's Bay area on the waterfront. A sandbar with a beach protects the bay from the open waters of Lake Ontario, and a waterfront development with townhouses lines the harbour. The area is dominated visually by the Pickering nuclear plant and a 117 metre tall wind turbine. |
