North Bay is a city in transition. Ambitious plans are underway to create a linkage between the downtown core and the waterfront. The restoration of the old train station is now complete and a park system has been constructed. Most of the downtown buildings are not architecturally significant and a few have been mistreated over the years. As the downtown struggles to rediscover itself, there are signs of improvement with new stores and investments by shop owners. |
