Kincardine is a beautiful town located along the shore of Lake Huron. Although a few buildings have suffered from aluminum siding treatment, there are many nice buildings in the commercial core and surrounding residential neighbourhoods. The downtown contains a mixture of Renaissance, Italianite, and Second Empire buildings. Renovations to the Aztec Theatre have not been kind to the facade which is quite unfortunate. The residential neighbourhoods contain some Italian Villa, Second Empire, and Italianite style buildings. |
