Gananoque (pronounced "Gan-a-nock-way") is a tourist-friendly waterfront town near the Thousand Islands area of the St. Lawrence River. The downtown has a mix of brick and stone buildings in a variety of styles including Renaissance and Georgian. The town has some beautifully restored old houses many of which have been turned into bed and breakfasts. |
