Though the architectural styles found in Durham are quite common in Ontario, the town itself is somewhat interesting. There are two commercial cores; the one fronting the main thoroughfare is a busy place with many businesses and the other (on top of a nearby hill) has become desolate and devoid of commercial activity except for the occasional store or restaurant. |
