The architecture in Cannington is similar to that of nearby Port Perry. The downtown buildings feature elaborate rooflines and arches over upper-level windows. The Brock Township municipal building looks like an attempt at Second Empire but comes across as tacky Postmodernism with its unnecessary arches and overbearing corner features. |
