BROCKVILLE, Ontario
Brockville is a Loyalist community with a rich railway heritage. The first railway tunnel in Canada was built here and it's now the centrepiece of Armagh S. Price Park on the harbour. Brockville's patent medicine industry thrived in the 1800s and was home to Dr. William's Pink Pills for Pale People. The Courthouse Green is in the centre of downtown and is lined with important historic buildings, most notable the courthouse itself. The city now draws tourists from the Thousand Islands area and has a strong manufacturing base.
