BRIDGENORTH, Ontario
Bridgenorth is located at a historic portage route to Chemong Lake. The village is now a crossroads thanks to the Chemong Causeway which was originally built as a floating bridge in 1869. The lake is often busy with boaters in the summer and snowmobilers in the winter but the village lacks a well defined downtown and most of the waterfront is privately owned.
