Arnprior is located at the mouth of the Madawaska River directly below a large power dam. Water is a prominent feature in the town. Its waterfront, along both the Madawasks and Ottawa Rivers is developed with scenic parks, marinas, and trails. The landmark Gillies Building, opened in 1896, now houses the Arnprior & District Museum. |
