3:30pm Riverside and S 1st. notice the lack of traffic. for my money, we live in the easiest big city to get around in.....I'm in it every day (not at 5pm, holiday's and road work notwithstanding), with little problem.
Kevin, I think we need to flag this for heated debate in the transportation thread.
So I count at least 16 cranes that you could see from Barton Creek Mall, and that's without all the others that will go up soon. Most of the ones the ones that are up now are going to be up for a while, too.
How the heck are you going to find your bike amongst the herd, especially after the drinking and smoking? Or can you bikers hone in on your bikes like bats to their pups?
Yeah, you just have to remember where you parked it. I actually really hate leaving it for long. I know it looks like a POS, but I wouldn't trade it for a car. I've got an old (1985) Raleigh Elkhorn - back when they were still made in the US that I bought from a guy in the neighborhood 5 years ago. I had a blast riding around today. Those concerts get so packed with bikes. I've seen people put them up in trees and chain them up there, or hang them over the fence. It's crazy.

That was a great article. It's nice to associate a face to the name. And I want to especially thank you for posting it. Otherwise, most of us wouldn't be able to read the article in it's entirety because - as it notes
