Girona, Spain: A Day's Worth of Photos

All of these photos were taken in September 2015 when I went on a big European vacation. We took the high speed train from Barcelona to Girona and spent the day there. The next day we flew out early in the morning. Here are the results of our too short but very sweet time in this great little city.

Nice little city! I'm sure many people go there just to get to the airport, just like in Bergamo, Italy, another city that is worth seeing itself.

That's the reason we went there but we were all pleasantly surprised.

Girona is great. It's being used as a location in the next season of Game of Thrones.

It's a bit sleepy perhaps but certainly worth the visit.

Great pics of one of Catalunya's less-visited cities. Did you get any shots from the Girona's walls? I spent two hours doing that a couple years ago. Fantastic views.

Spain is near the top of the list of countries to move to if Don the Con wins in November. Nice photos, thank you for posting.

I must have missed that but hopefully one day I will be back.
