I don't understand the omission of ground floor retail on so many of these buildings being built and proposed.

The 90-unit complex backs up to Hwy. 59 — er, Interstate 69 — just west of the Graustark St. bridge. It was vacated last September.

Houston MSA

In approximately three years there is a high probability the the Houston MSA will surpass the state of Massachusettes in population, GDP, and land area.

100 Waugh

Location: 100 Waugh Drive, Houston, Texas 77007

Description: A mixed-use podium structured project consisting of a 17 story residential apartment tower with amenity spaces and 14-story commercial office tower over 2 levels of below-grade parking and 10 levels of above-grade structured parking.

Has anyone seen or heard about this project? I am trying to figure out:

1. Is 100 Waugh really the address?

Google View https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ci...!6m1!1e1?hl=en

2. Is this the same project perhaps mentioned in this old article from 2013 or something entirely different?
http://http://www.bizjournals.com/ho...ce-of-new.html

3. Who's the Owner or developer for this mofo?!

I do believe this was mentioned in the past...

We only knew mixed-use was being planned at the site.

Thanks JustCurious for the new info! And welcome to the forum.

Here's a better look at the rendering:

Wow, that looks great, even though International Tower is unlikely to be built. Downtown is going to look so good in a couple years once these projects finish up.
