There is no mezzanine at Main Street Station - they got rid of it during the renovations.

As of October 11th, the only change to the site is that the unsupported northwest corner walls were torn down.

I just walked by the site, and there's only debris now; the building structures have all gone.

I'm in town for the weekend and I took a walk through SEFC today; it's really coming together. The maturing trees in their fall colours look great and I'm impressed with the additional development on Quebec and Main, plus the continuing infill along 1st and Second.

i cant believe that metal barn in the background is a heritage protected structure and cant be torn down but other buildings get torn down all the time. so strange. i wonder if it will stay standing when that part of false creek south is redeveloped.

I took these after the "Olympic Village as a Giant Sponge" Walking Tour.
I didn't grab photos of the Concert Properties, as it had started snowing by then and I decided I would rather be some place warm.

As I understood it the rental building needed occupancy first before the city would grant it to Voda.
Voda units are in the process of walk-through and will start move in 2nd week of February, and continue until May. The process started from the lower floor.

Thanks for the update. I assume the co-op rental will get occupancy at the same time or sooner? I thought the deal with the city was it had to be ready "first".

I don't know about the govt rental building status, but I am sure it is ready to move in. I have several customers bought Voda and move in date for 3/F start from 2nd week of Feb, 8/F is mid March and 10/F to 14/F is early to end April.

Good news, thanks. I'd say Navio 1 & 2 are less than a year behind Voda, should be done in 2018. I still can't believe there's zero movement on the 5th and final building.

Navio - South Tower will start moving in July/Aug and North Tower Oct/Dec. They will probably start selling the Flagship building around July this year when the surrounding garden is taking shape if not ready.

I tried to upload some photos inside Voda but even follow the exact procedures stated but don't know why I am still not able to get it done, I never upload any picture to this site.

I made an image highlighting where historical houses and buildings are. The majority of them are American Foursquare houses. I think when the developers start moving to this neighbourhood, we should move the scattered old houses of the neighbourhood into the block Southwest of 6th and Ontario and the block southwest of Columbia and 5th. We should really be aiming to preserve whatever old historical houses we have. A block like the Barclay Heritage Square in Westend would look really good in in South Olympic Village.
