The Wilhelminapier or Kop van Zuid (South Head); twenty years ago this was basically an urban wasteland, now it's one of the main highrise clusters in Rotterdam.
Yea that cluster looks pretty good in the daylight, too. Some bold and nice modernism in a city widely ravaged by WWII, that's pretty outstanding and inspiring, now.
I love the de Rotterdam, at first I thought it would look like one big fat square block of a tower, but it doesn't, it looks like four individual towers, which is much better, and has a much greater impact on the size of the skyline and number of towers, and has radically increased the density of Rotterdam, with the de Rotterdam complete there is an extra four towers for the city, plus the other two or three, recently and u/c, Rotterdam is looking like a great skyline now. Good cladding too, well done Rotterdam, a couple of taller towers and Rotterdam will move ahead of Warsaw again
