Nice shots, I obviously have a soft spot for the BOK Tower (see my avatar) which is Tulsa's tallest building at 667 ft. One of two 600+ footers in the city that also has three 500+ footers.

Downtown is pretty sleepy in most parts but there are some more active districts that have really come alive over the past few years: one is the Arts District on the north side and Blue Dome District on the east side. Lots of new residential development and new restaurants/shops. There are a couple proposals that would add nearly 1000 residential units to downtown so it is rapidly changing.

I have never had the talent to take good photos, but I really like to watch the work of talented photographers. This makes it possible to understand the culture of other countries and look into a foreign world.

I've been intrigued by Tulsa for a long long time, it seems like the Twilight Zone in a good way. How close is Oral Roberts campus to downtown? Do you have any pictures of that area?

I have no pictures of that area, it is 7.5 miles South of downtown. They do not welcome photographers, so I can not recommend a visit there.

I lived in OKC for a total of 5 years, 2 different times in the 80's. Downtown was dead after 5 and probably still is save for the Bricktown area and I actually lived downtown in the Regency Tower for a half year. What's downtown Tulsa like after 5? Your pictures didn't so much activity even during the day, maybe it was a weekend. I enjoyed my experience in OKC and liked the people very much. Every once in a while I still throw out a y'all and have to laugh out loud.

Sorry for the late reply . Downtown Tulsa was fairly dead on the weekdays I was out and about taking photos, and I have to admit I was back in my hotel room at a rather early time so any happy hour or later bar activity I missed!

I'm glad this thread got bumped up again. Art Deco is the best.
