Similar direction given on the South Central Waterfront (statesman and nearby area) but the city manager has simply not delivered on this.

The domain is getting an exciting and unique new store at the corner of Burnet and Braker.
Its called Starbucks, have you heard of it ? Here is a picture, shows it can handle 15 cars backed up.

On a side note, they are drilling for the Bowen Rebar pillars. Also someone pointed out if you look at the long term plan, there is a second Bowen right next to the first Bowen in phase4. They did a copy, flip and paste of the first and dropped it where the parking lot and green space is to the west of the Bowen as shown here:

Nice update!

Needless to say, this is absolutely the last thing this busy intersection needs. Put this drive through garbage in Cedar Park or Hutto.

Is this UT owned Pickle Property?

Looks like it's operating under an old site plan, SP-2015-0393C , that previously was going to be a Dunkin Donuts.

Hmm. The landscaping improvements will be nice, at least. Also, I'm tired of that lot being empty.

I'd love to play with an excavator or bulldozer personally.

Someone should monetize that. Get a variety of old earth-mover equipment, a big plot of empty land, a couple of food trucks, a beer stand, and charge by the hour. They'd be rolling in cash. I'd pay to play with an excavator.

There is a company that does / or used to do that. Saw them on Shark Tank. I would love to do that if it was close and the price was reasonable.

I agree, it would be a blast. Drive on up to Forth Worth and have at it. This location even has car crushing!

The Starbucks lot at Burnet and Braker is already cordoned off. I guess they move pretty fast. Must drink a lot of coffee.

Someone on reddit said they talked to the owners of C. Hunt's Ice House and they said the city of Austin annexed some of their land to apparently connect Rundberg to Burnet. So that'll be a nice secret back way to get to the Domain/McKalla.

That secret has been in the works for at least 20 years

Here's a new site plan for the Domain. It's for the expansion of an existing garage and an additional parking garage. The Domain needs more parking apparently.

Yeah, I know, but this is the first time I've seen any tangible progress.

I think that is why there is an abandoned gas station on burnet at that intersection. I am assuming that was bought by COA for the future extension of Runberg. That has been sitting there in bad shape for a long time and its in the path of the extension. So looks like they had some of the pieces, maybe they are finishing up with gathering up the remaining lots.

That is interesting, is that in the Domain or is it in that business park I have marked here in blue. The address seems to point to this area. Are there plans to expand that area ?

That's would be it I guess. The permit actually calls it "Domain Point". They probably came up with that name after they tossed out "Domain Adjacent."
